1. Workshop on Ethical Hacking - The CSE department of KCCEIT has organized a two day workshop on “Ethical hacking’’ in collaboration with IIT MUMBAI on 18^th and 19^th Sept, 2012. Rishi Sharma student of 2009 batch, of CSE department, KCCEIT, Nawanshahr got selected and won free air ticket to IIT, Mumbai to compete in finals which was held in Jan, 2013 with other institutions

2. PTU Sponsored National Conference- Around 50 faculty and research scholars from all over Punjab were shortlisted to participate in this 2 day National conference- “ERETM’2012.’

3. Workshop on Oracle- Training to CSE students on Oracle module by professionals from Bangalore

4. Release of CSE Magazine & Inauguration of Association of Computer Science & IT Engineers- Features of this magazine were highlighted on Science day, 28^th Feb, 2013

5. Science quiz- Was planned and organized to celebrate Science day

6. Guest Lectures- Were organized by eminent researchers from different colleges.

7. Use of Computer Labs for conducting Online Test for recruitment of clerical staff in Public Banks by TCS on 22^nd, 23 ^rd, December, 2012

8. Workshop for training Police personnel on usage of Computers
