Chess Competition at KCCE

Nawanshahr: KC College of Education conducted Three-Day Inter College Chess Competition. 30 students from all the KC Institutions participated in the competition and exhibited their intelligence and dedication. In Boys' Category Vivek Kumar of KC College of Engineering & IT won the match while Imran got second position. In Girls' Category, Poonam of KC Polytechnic College won the match and Rekha from KC School of Management & Computer Applications got second position. Brig. HS Bhandal, CEO KCGI honored the winners with Medals and Trophies.

Sharing her views, Dr. Rekha, Principal KC College of Education said, "Students have shown immense interest in Chess Competition and such kind of competitions and matches strengthen the abilities and capabilities of students".

Brig. HS Bhandal, CEO KCGI also addressed the students and thrown light on importance of sports and games in the overall development of a student.

Mr. Himanshu Sharma, Mr. Janarden Kumar, Ms. Lalita and Ms. Neha were judges of the event.
