PSEB organizes District Level Career Counseling seminar at KCGI
Nawanshahr: Punjab School Education Board organized District Level Career Counseling Seminar at KC Group of Institutions. As many as fifty meritorious students partook in seminar and availed valuable knowledge regarding various streams. Dr. Sunil Khosla from Panjab University; Dr. Tejinder Pal, Associate Professor, University Business School, PU, Chd; Dr. Aman Bhalla, Associate Professor, Chemistry, PU, Chd and Lieutenant Colonel Chuhar Singh from Sainik Vocational Training Academy, Nsr were the key speakers of the seminar.
Dr. Sunil Khosla made the students aware about the various degree and diploma courses running in various institutions and also threw light on the scope of almost every stream. Dr. Tejinder Pal focused upon Management Study and explained the procedure to get admission in management related courses. He provided detailed information about CAT and MAT. Dr. Aman Bhalla gave information about Applied Sciences. Lieutenant Colonel Chuhar Singh emphasized upon Life Skills and Soft Skills.
Talking to Media persons District Education Officer Kulwant Singh said, “We’ve called the students who have got more than 80% marks in Matriculation Examinations of March 2013. Our motive behind this seminar is to channelize the potential of scholars effectively with proper counseling.”
In the last session, Students interacted with resource persons and got their queries solved.
