VISIT TO SHRI NABH KANWAL ORPHAN AND OLD-AGE HOME AND RAJA SAHIB DE MAZARE

KCCE has organized a visit to Shri Nabh Kanwal Orphan and Old-Age Home and Raja Sahib De Mazare ondated 18 Nov, 2017 under the supervision of Ms. Kuljinder Kaur (Principal KCCE) and Dr. M.P. Bhasin (Dean Academic). First of all students visited Shri Nabh Kanwal Orphan and Old-Age Home where Sh. Balwant Singh and Sh. Jaswant Singh guide the students. Students went in groups to the rooms of old-aged persons and orphans and listen the reasons for coming to old-age home. Students became aware about the apathy that surrounds the old-aged people with children having no time to take care of them. Students learnt the value that one should have respect for parents.
After that students visited the Raja Sahib de Mazare. The students started with paying reverence to the holy book of Sikhs. All the students had community eating together and learnt the value of community eating where all people regardless of race, caste and religion enjoy their meal together. The aim of the visit was to enrich the students with the importance of community services.
