As a part of the activity of innovation/project Lab the department of Electrical Engineering Organised an extention lecture by Er. Kirandeep Kaur on the topic "AC Power Transmission System" on 13-08-2018 under the guidance of Principal R.K.Moom. All the students of 3rd semester and 5th semester of Electrical Engineering attended the lecture. In her address Er. Kirandeep Kaur stressed the need for doing mini projects in lower semester before attending to do a major project in final semester. She demonstrate that in this technical era we need lots of electric facilities that are provided through the Transforms, Power Plants ,Solar System, Wind Turbine. Although she explained the working process of AC Power Plant Transmission System that how the electricity converts into its original form through the procedures of heat of water because water turbine are fixed in it. Electricity originated by the plants after that it spreads over the house of people through the electricity wires and transforms. However; solar system works via the waves of sun and convert into light. In some regions light is actualize with the help of Wind Turbine. Furthermore, last but not the least she explained about the Alternative Current and Direct Current.
On this occasion Er.R.K Moom(Principal),Er.Harpreet kaur(HOD EE) Er.Bikram Kumar, Er.Gurmandeep kaur ,Er.jaswant Singh, Er.D.M Gaur, Er.Zaftar were also present in this lecture.
