Central Admission Procedure

Guidelines for Counselling (Non AICTE)

1. The candidate applying for counseling should fulfill the eligibility criteria of the university.
2. 85% seats shall be open to the Punjab domicile candidates and 15% will be open for the candidates from the outside the state.
3. The admission of the candidate will be made on the basis of merit list prepared collectively for General /Reserved Categories/Subcategories candidates.
4. The rank of the candidates in the merit list would be based on the following criteria:

• The candidate securing higher aggregate percentage marks in the qualifying examination shall rank higher in order of merit.
• In the case of tie in (a) above, the candidate senior in age shall rank higher in order of merit.

5. Counselling for 85% seats of Punjab domicile candidates and 15% for the candidates from the outside the state shall be taken up simultaneously.

2. Second Counseling

• Online Application Dates: 20/08/2018 to 12/09/2018
• Payment of Fees: 20/08/2018 to 12/09/2018
• Display of Merit List: 13/09/2018
• Reporting for Admission Confirmation: 14/09/2018 to 15/09/2018
