KCPians celebrated Teej with zeal and fervor

One of the most awaited festivals of Teej was celebrated with passion and gaiety. Dressed in colorful traditional attires girls of KC Public School (KCPS) welcomed the Monsoon with joy and happiness. They danced to the tune of Dhol and recited Boliyan.

The Special event of Teej at KC Public School started with folk and cultural performances. Attractive environment of Trinjan was created to portray the picture of Punjabi Culture. Girls rode swings, span the Charkha, beat the Chaj and performed Giddha.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Munish Mohan Sharma, Principal KCPS said, "Teej symbolizes the reunion of Shiva and his wife Parvati and this festival is celebrated to seek the blessings for marital bliss."
