Mr. M.S. Dhiman- Deputy General Manager of Aniweb designs along with his subordinates visited our Nawanshahr campus for recruitment drive for B.Tech final year students (CSE/IT). He conducted an interactive session with students followed by a written test based on technical questions. Later, he took interviews of the eligible students who cleared the written test.

No. of Students Placed: 5

Name of selected students are: Partibha, Amarjeet Kaur, Deepika Koundal, Manjinder Kaur, Swapna Kadiyan.

They have been offered a package of 2.16 lac with a stipend 4k starting from April, 2011.

A session by on technical attributes with the students on B.Tech Final Year (CSE/IT).This was an interactive session with the students where they were introduced with the latest & most advanced technologies being offered to the students of engineering as a career in IT & IT based organizations. In the session they introduced the latest technologies & tools used for J2EE & Web Applications Developments. They answered all the technical queries of the students related to the same. This session was an initiative taken by Industry Interface Center (IIC). The Director of IIC Mr. Himanshu Sharma & Deputy Director Mr. Pankaj Kumar Verma motivated the students to participate & make an active participation in future initiatives to enhance the academia.

Mr. Ajit Pavitharan - GM of VIVANTA by TAJ Hotels along with Swati Thakre - HR Manager visited our campus. They conducted a session with the students which included a presentation from TAJ group.

Then they had a GD round where they assess the candidates on their active participation and confidence level. It was followed by one on one interview round.

KFC - OFF CAMPUS DRIVE FOR KFC AT BERKLEY COLLEGE, PATIALA ON 4th NOV, 2011

Off campus drive at Berkley college, Patiala for the students of BBA/BCA final year.

There were companies like KFC, Rich infra, Tetra, DLF, HDFC, etc.

Mrs. Seema - HR Head of Stellar along with Mr. Mohit - Technical Head visited our campus.

They conducted a written test for Industrial training with the students of B. Tech final year (CSE/IT).

Result of Stellar for Industrial training. No. of students shortlisted: 6

Vikas Rana and Pawan Kumar Pandey are getting free of cost training. Robin Kumar and Jagtar Singh are getting 50% discount on training fee. Sahil Sharma and Vinay Thakur are getting 25% discount on training fee.

WORKSHOP ON PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT AND EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS BY BETASOFT SYSTEMS ON 18TH NOV, 2011

Students from all different streams Engineering, Polytechnic, Management and Hotel Management were a part of this workshop.

Mr. Ashwin Das - Operations Head Betasoft, Mr. Vidit Arya - Ass. Manager, Ms. Megha Verma - Corporate Trainer and Mr. Ravi - Trainer visited our Campus.

They took a workshop for personality development and importance of employability skills for the students in the growing competitive arena.

They held a group discussion to initiate the student interaction and also did mock sessions to boost up their confidence.

Around 150 students participated in this workshop.
