INDUSTRIAL VISIT OF KC POLYTECHNIC STUDENTS OF CIVIL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT AT MOHALI
The department of Civil engineering in KC Polytechnic College Organized an industrial visit to GRIL Pvt Ltd. situated in Banga ,Nawanshahr on 27 th October 2018.A group of 30 students of civil engg. branch of 3rd semester and 5th semester visited the site in the supervision of civil engg. Department lecturer Er.Ashwani Kumar.
This was a four Lane project .GRIL pvt.ltd. works under National highway authority of INDIA . GRIL pvt ltd. is an integrated road EPC company with experience in design and construction of various road highway projects across 14 States in India. This company was incorporated in December 1995 , since then gradually increased company execution capabilities in terms of the size of projects that company have bid for and executed.This company have experience in constructing state and national highways, bridges, culverts, flyovers, airport runways and rail over-bridges.
Our students visited the site near National Highway Banga and site engineer gave them fruitful knowledge about construction of roads ,binding of steel rods,batching of construction materials and water bound mecadum concept about road construction.
Moreover; ER.R.K.Moom (Principal of the college) and ER.N.K.SONI(HOD Civil engg. ) also encourage the students to explore their practical knowledge so that they would get good jobs in civil engineering companies.
