Seminar on Communication Skills at KC Polytechnic College

A seminar was organized in civil engineering department at K C Polytechnic College Nawanshahr. Prof. VishavPrem HOD Civil Engineering Department ( KCCEIT) delivered the lecture to 6th semester students. Topic of the lecture was "Green Building" in which they told to the students that as an environmental point of view and to opt maximum renewable resources Green Building id the most affective way. In this, construction is totally based on renewable resources such as replacement of cement with fibers (hairs), coconut hairs, useless concrete etc.). Prof VishavPrem also told the students about the use of non - conventional sources of energy such as solar power, wind energy etc.
A seminar was organized on Communication skills at KCPC in Applied Science Department under the guidance of Principal R.K Moom. In this seminar Ms. Jaswinder Kaur lecturer in English delivered a lecture on Communication Skills and discussed the best techniques of communication skills and explained how it can be used effectively while working and in social life, how it anables a person to leave an impression on the listener's mind and how communication helps in changing the attitude of the peers. The students from all the branches of Applied Science - Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Civil, IT, Auto Mobile Engineering attended the seminar and asked a few questions to clear their doubts and given their views also. On this occasion Principal R.K Moom, and all the HODs Ms. Monika Parihar, N.K Soni, Parminder Kumar, and staff members Ms.Namita, Mr. Gaurav were also present.
