INTERNATIONAL LITERACY DAY CELEBRATED AT KC POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE ON 08-09-2016

In KC Polytechnic College "International Literacy Day " was celebrated on 8/9/2016, in which students and staff members told that Literacy is an essential need for everyone. Initially polytechnic college student Padma Lamo sang a song for welcome. After that student Sonam Angmo said that "The meaning of literacy is not only Education, although the meaning of education is to develop the society with great honor.

Sonam Angmo said that in Technical tenure literacy has a great relationship with society and economic development. However Union Nation's Educators, Scientists and sanskritik organizers; UNESCO took the decision on 17-Nov-1965 for the celebration of The International Literacy Day on 8th Sept in the every part of the world for exhausting the illiteracy into the world.

Principal Rajinder Kumar Moom told that literacy is not an education, it ties the foundation of Enlightenment in the people for their Rights and Duties. Among the equality into male and female, it is an essential that female must have educated. On this occasion Er. Gurnawab Singh, Er. Parwinder Kumar , Er. N.K Soni, Er. Harpreet Kaur, Mrs. Monika Parihar, Er.Rohit Balli, Er.Ravinderjit Singh, PRO Vipen Kumar were present.
