National Save Girl Child Day in KC Polytechnic College

-Females have the capacities to do better than males - Gurnawab Singh
2 February 2016 A Function was organized in KC Polytechnic College on Tuesday to celebrate National Save Girl Child Day. In which students shared their views on this day.In the beginning officiating Principal Gurnawab Singh told that in India male child is taken as the heir of property and female child as a burden and still most of the female child are killed in the womb before their birth. He also told that females should not be consider weak they have the capacities to do better than males . Students Sonam Angmo, Deldan Zangmo presented speeches on the Save Girl Child Day and Sonam Angmo recited a nice poem on the role of girls in a society . After this Sonam Angmo, Rahima Kaushar,Deldan Angmo, Rinchen zangmo Padma Lamo , Chuskit students of 2nd semester of KC polytechnic presented a beautiful Choreography on the theme of women empowerment .A dance was also performed by Padma Lamo and Chuskit. Then a song was sung by a student Lovepreet kaur.

Stage was conducted by Prof Jaswinder Kaur and Er. Sanjeev Kumar and student Sonam Angmo . In the end of this function Appreciation certificates were also given away to the Participants by the Principal Gurnawab Singh and HOD's Er. Parwinder Kumar,Er N.K Soni, Mrs. Monika Parihar. Principal HM Baljit kaur, Officiating Principal KCPC Er. Gurnawab Singh, HOD's Er. Parwinder Kumar, Er. N.K Soni, Mrs. Monika Parihar, Er. Kashish Sareen, Sr. Lect. Er. Sandeep Singh Bhangal, all the Faculty members KCPC and students of KCPC were also present on this occasion.
