New Student Orientation Program 2016 4th & 5th August, 2016

The orientation program is designed to support new students as they begin their journey at Hampshire. During the course of the program, we gradually introduce new students to life at the College, from academics and community norms to resources and support services. K.C.I.E.T, Pandoga welcomed the fresh batch of students of B.Tech (1st & 2nd Year) on 4th August, 2016 with the orientation program at KC Pandoga campus. Dr. B.S. Sandhu (Director) addressed the students on this important journey of their life and the importance of transition from student to corporate lifestyle. Prof. Dr. Priyadarshi Jaruhar (Principal KCIET) motivated the students for a great career ahead by introducing them to the uniquely blended curriculum of fun filled events and rigorous academics that give KCIET students a 360 degree development opportunity. Principal of different colleges enabling the students to realize how important the next four years would be to each of them. Colonel Rajesh Kanwer Administrative Officer, KCGI Pandoga outlined the career path for the students towards defence (Indian Army) after B.Tech. Dr. Saroj Sharma Dean Academic gives an excellent coverage of this program. Er. Mandeep Kumar Kashyap (HOD & Assist Prof. in CSE) address the students towards engineering with focus on research, group projects, time management, etc. The Heads of Various departments was spoken on careers and future scope of their respective departments. The program was followed by light refreshments organized for students also helping them break the ice with the peers and staff.
