Women's Day Celebration in KC Polytechnic College Nawanshahr

As a part of activities Women's Day was celebration in KC Polytechnic College Nawanshahr on 29-8-2018.All the students of 1st,3rd and 5th semester of all Branches were present on this occasion. Students highlighted the events regarding this day including speech, songs. The Principal of the Polytechnic college Er. R.K. Moom said that" celebration the Women's Day provide us an opportunity to recognize the monumental contribution of females to society and it will help to spread the awearness amongst the youth and gave the perfect example of Dr. Kalpana Chawla who is the first Indian born female astronaut to travel out of Earth's atmosphere who continues to inspire many young mind across the globe. However; Ms. Monika Parihar (HOD of Applied Science Department) suggested that " Women should be appreciated, supported and encouraged, we should empower them and hear their voice, women should be enlighten towards their rights.

Furthermore; students Yashkaran, Dhiraj , Manvir Singh, Rahil explained the rights of women through their outstanding speeches. Although Student Krishna, Anjli Sang a beautiful song in this celebration. On this occasion Er. R.K. Moom (Principal), Er. Parminder Kumar (HOD Me/AE), Er. N.K. Soni(HOD CIVIL), Er. Jyoti Chopra (HOD CSE), Er. Harpreet Kaur (HOD EE), Ms. Monika Parihar (HOD Applied Science Department ) and all the faculty members were also present.
