Celebration on Children’s Day in KC Polytechnic College Nawanshahr

Children Day is celebrated every year throughout the country on 14th November to increase the awareness of people towards the rights, care and education of children and also celebrated in the KC Polytechnic College on 15-11-2018. All the students of this college express their gratitude and appreciation this day. This day was dedicated to the birthday of India's first Prime Minister Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru . To enlighten the highlights regarding this day students and teachers paid their proper attention. Er. R.K. Moom (Principal of the College) put some light on the Biography of this legend personality and said "Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru was born on 14th November 1889 in Allahabad. He was a freedom fighter and a central figure in indian politics before and after independence". His father's name was Moti Lal Nehru and mother's name was Sarup Rani. He became the charismatic leader of the Indian National Movement under the guidance and leadership of Mahatma Gandhi. Although all the Hod’s highlight the importance of this day in their own glimpse.
However; students Krishna, Babita, Dushal, Deepak Kumar Paswan, Rahul, Gulshan ,Manpreet Singh, Pardeep Kaur gave their outstanding performances and student Dushal, Babita, krishna sang songs on this day. The celebration was covered up with College principal's speech.
Furthermore; Er. R.K. Moom (Principal), Er. Parminder Kumar (HOD ME / AE), Er. N.K. Soni (HOD CIVIL), Er. Jyoti Chopra (HOD CSE), Er. Harpreet Kaur (HOD EE), Ms. Monika Parihar (HOD Applied Science Department ) and all the faculty members were also present.
