Celebration of HOLI in KC Polytechnic College Nawanshahr

Holi is one of the major festival of India and also known as "Festival of Spring" and "festival of colours".Holi was celebrated at KC Polytechnic College Nawanshahr on 9-3-2020 by Civil Engg. Department.All the students of this college were present on this legendry occasion. A special assembly was conducted wherein students were made aware of the significance of this day. Er.R.K.Moom explained the history of this day and stressed that this day is celebrated with the name Holi Dahan or Choti Holi on first evening of the festival and following day is called Holi. Er.Ashwani Kumar(HOD Civil Engg Department) said " Celebration of Holi symbolizes the triumph of good over bad ". Furthermore; students Rupesh Yadav, explained the history of this day through outstanding speech. Moreover Student Dhiraj Kumar, Rakesh Kumar Yadav, Jatindera, Arfan made a beautiful chart on this celebration. On this occasion Er. R.K. Moom (Principal),Er. Parminder Kumar (HOD ME/AE), Er.Ashwani Kumar(HOD CIVIL),Er.Ram Lubhiya (HOD CSE), Er. Harpreet Kaur (HOD EE), Ms.Namita (HOD Applied Science Department ) and all the faculty members were also present.
