Havan Ceremony performed at KCIM on Feb 02, 2016

"Havan" also known as "hawan", "homa" and "homam" is a Sanskrit word that refers to a ritual in which certain offerings are made into a consecrated fire accompanied by the chanting of mantras.The practice of Havan is very ancient and dates back in history to the Vedic era of Hindu civilization Havan ceremonies are performed for many different purposes and different deities may be invoked depending on the occasion, and a devotees' situation and circumstances.

KCIM performed HAVAN CEREMONY on Feb 02,2016 with the participative efforts of the Principal Ms. Inderpreet Kaur and her dedicating faculty members praying for the beginning of the new session to receive the blessings of God for removing and destroying negative energies and replacing it with positive energies for the rituals of supplication and purification.

Pradeep Singh Gill, Principal (KCPS) Ms. Kiran Chaudhary, Principal (KC Public School), Mr. Rakesh Sharma, Administrativfe Officer, Mr. Palwinder Singh, Students of KCIM ...all became an active part in the Havan Ceremony and prayed for the smooth and successful beginning of the new session.
