Industrial visit of Civil Students to Malana Hydro Electric Power Plant
Faculty members from Civil Department under the guidance of the Campus Director Dr. B.S Sandhu organised an Industrial visit for Civil- 7th Semester students to "Malana Hydro Electric Power Plant" situated in Distt. Kullu on Oct 13, 2015 to experience practically the working of Power Plant. They were accompanied by the Head of Civil Department, Er. Ankur Lath and two faculty members namely, Er. Pankaj Sharma and Mr. Anuresh Saini.
Students under the guidance of Mr. Harish Kumar (Supervisor) experienced the generation of electricity using water as a source.
This visit helped in enhancing the technical skills of specially those students who want to pursue their career in NHPC, NTPC and Hydro power projects etc.
Students took and adhere a keen interest in nourishing this opportunity.
