Eye Donation Fortnight was celebrated at KC group of Institutions in collaboration with "Health and Family Welfare Department", UNA and "Eye Donation Association",Hoshiarpur on Monday , Aug 31, 2015.
Dignitiries present: Dr. Nikhil Sharma - C.M.O, UNA Dr. Parveen Kumar - District Programme Officer, UNA Dr. Gurbaksh Singh - Joint Secretary Eye Donation Assosiation. Prof. Bahadur Singh - President Eye Donation Assosiation, Hoshiarpur. Mr. Raj Kumar Rana- Mass Education and Information Officer, UNA
All the above mentioned persons shared their views regarding the importance of donating eyes so as to give light to others life removing darkness from their lives forever, technical aspects of Eye Donation, conditions to be fulfilled for Eye Donation and other important aspects of Eye Donation. The members of the society also distributed Certificates to the donors who had already taken pledge for Eye Donation.
